This meeting is planned to review the new tree canopy assessment using 2021 data showing that the tree canopy is only 33% not the 41% identified in 2017. Important opportunities to comment on the draft Forestry and Natural Resources Plan (FNRP) as it is being drafted and how the County must address the loss of tree canopy more aggressively. During public comment you can weigh in on the FNRP with regard to lot coverage, stormwater benefits of trees, etc..
